Plans for a Serenity Garden - A Peaceful Place for "Me"
I'd like to use this tiny spot and create a hangout...a beautiful place, a wonderful world of tropical, native Floridian plants, waterfall, birdbath, lights and torches and windchimes.
This is the "BEFORE" picture...
Ideas welcome....

you could put a giant shoe rack there :)
I love you, Mavis.
Wait, I'm going to put up the ONE WEEK later photo of the shoe rack. You won't believe what happened....stay tuned!
Doreen
i would buy a nice comfy wicker chair with a cushy soft cushion and a matching foot stool. a big potted fern and one of those indoor outdoor woven rugs. a nice little table to hold your beverage and book. don't forget a reading lamp. in the corner, like you said, a nice soothing water fountain.
you could have several lovely container garden plants going since you live in a hot and humid climate. good luck.

Doreen, get a pappason chair w/ottoman from Craigslist or g'sale...like Spidey said, definitely waterfall - and do a hanging garden like I am (less space needs) - begonias grow in the shade and are easy, bromolliads are nice and exotic, and of course, and orchid or two - mom will tell you what needs they all have, but if I can do it, a monkey can do it.
