i love smiley dogs like that one. when zyrtec first came out, the TV commercial had a papillion dog in it, and it was such a happy little spunky thing. i usually hate small dogs, they yap too much, but that papillion really grabbed my attention. i told my guy that if i had to have a small dog, i'd want a papillion, b/c they're smiley dogs. he is a big dog kinda guy though, so if we ever get a dog again, it'll be another retriever type dog: big, sweet, obedient and stupid.
