Welcome to the dark side.
Spidey... price came down significantly and free shipping. Add up how much you spend on books and consider it....
Roger... I'm there!
While I love the thought of a Kindle nothing compares to a real live book for me. I go to the library or my friends and I pass along books so it's not as expensive or a luxury to me. I am sure if I got a Kindle I would be hooked but there is something relaxing about curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a book. I would feel to much like my young nieces and nephews who curl up on the couch with their nintendo DS's Technology is fantastic, I use...and abuse too much of it already. Real books are my last hold out.
Real books for for the good and the nice people. Feel the electrons course through your fingers as you manipulate the controls on the Imperial Kindle! Let your feelings free! The dark side awaits!! Buu-wa-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaaaaaa.
congrats, i hope you love it. my mom got my dad one for christmas, so she told us all to get him gift certificates for him. part of me wants one and another part doesn't. i wanted an ereader for years and then the first few generations of those started to break down, and fast, so i felt relieved that i didn't spend my money on one. i'll wait another few years and wait for the bugs to br worked out. i'd rather use the little resources i have on my family as a whole than just on me.
jilly
I have a Nook.
